What is the relationship between Ludwig Express and Ludwig Pictures?
KDL INTL LLC operates Ludwig Express and Ludwig Pictures, placing original art by Katherine Dolgy Ludwig on adult, youth, and children’s fashion, fabric, accessories, carries, dog items, home and office decor, and original printmaking and paintings.
What is the best way to care for my fashion, fabric, accessories, carries, dog items, home and office decor made for me by Ludwig Express?
These are special art garments, carries, and decor, each digitally printed from original paintings and therefore will have individual variances as part of the process. It’s important that you know how to take care of everything in the best way possible!
We use high-quality inks that won’t fade for a long time if taken care of properly. It’s best to hand wash your art garments with like colors, inside out, in cold water. If you prefer to machine wash cold inside out, on gentle hand wash cycle, use a gentle detergent made for delicate garments. But the big colors and fabric fresh look will last longer if you hand wash. You shouldn’t use bleach, or fabric softeners, or dry-clean the items. Hang dry to maintain the brightest colors. Do not iron.
Carries such as backpacks, gym bags, duffle bags, and totes need to be hand washed without bleach, and left to air dry naturally. Don’t dry clean or tumble dry or iron.
Pillow cases can be machine-washed inside out without bleach on a cold cycle for delicates with a gentle detergent. Hang to dry. Don’t dry-clean, or tumble-dry, or iron. The pillow inserts shouldn’t be washed, bleached, tumble-dried, ironed, or dry-cleaned.
Towels, and laptop sleeves, can be machine-washed cold with like colors at no more than 86ºF (30ºC). Don’t use bleach and don’t dry-clean. It’s best to hang and air dry naturally.
Mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe, but the print and coating will last longer if you hand wash them.
To ensure that your posters’ brilliant luster lasts for a long time, don’t keep them in direct sunlight or outdoors. They can be gently dusted with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.

When will I get my order? Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:

- Europe: 6-8 business days
- Australia: 2-14 business days
- Japan: 4-8 business days
- International: 10-20 business days

- Will I be charged customs for my order?
An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases. All customs and duties are the responsibility of the recipient of the order.
- My order should be here by now, but I still don’t have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
- Check your shipping confirmation email for an mistakes in the delivery address
- Ask your local post office if they have the package
- Stop by your neighbors’ in case the courier left the package with them
- If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn’t left at the post office or at your neighbors’, get in touch with us at email@example.com with your order number.
- If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost.
How are your products made? Ludwig Express works with locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently!

I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do? We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at email@example.com within four days time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!
What’s your return policy? Since all our items are custom made, we don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Do you offer refunds? Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at email@example.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/color? At this time, we don’t offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description section. Additionally, every person knows the look they like to achieve for themselves: some like to seriously upsize for a big daddy fit and some like a snug cocktail party look — you do you. Though rare, it’s possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org within four days after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!
